Kazuko Sumi, Strategy and Administrative Manager
Kazuko Sumi has a range of international experience in leadership roles in Asia and in North America. Kaz has led business strategy and market development efforts for US and Indian multinational firms in Asia, including firms involved in technology computer peripherals product manufacturing, and high-value mined products. She developed manufacturing facility and supply chain plans for facility locations in Singapore and led market response teams that evaluated Japan-market business reactions to company product quality.
With her corporate experience, Kaz provides GLDPartners an important business perspective and has assumed an increasing role in working with the Managing Partner on implementing strategic company solutions. Her work includes interface with staff and outside parties on a spectrum of corporate planning issues such as subsidiary function and structuring and human resources. Kaz also works with other senior staff on assuring integration of resources across projects. Through her tenure at GLDPartners, Kaz has also managed company administrative functions including contract management, oversight of financial affairs related to banking relationships, corporate payments, payroll, insurance, and IT.
