Joel Pentz, Strategic Investment and Partnerships Director

Joel Pentz leads GLDPartners’ strategic development and partnerships initiatives, including public private partnership activities.  He has significant public and private sector multi-discipline business, legal, advocacy, stakeholder engagement, public speaking, consensus building and project execution experience, leading several billion dollars of transactions throughout his career.

In addition to his private industry background, Joel has public sector experience as a former port authority in-house General Counsel where during his tenure he had regular and significant interaction with local, state, and federal elected officials and governmental agencies, trade organizations and interested stakeholder groups. His work included key roles related to policy and advocacy, project planning and management, construction, environmental, funding, and public private partnerships with respect to major regional logistics, intermodal and industrial assets, public infrastructure improvements, and industrial properties and facilities.  In past roles, Joel played leadership roles in managing federal policy and investment, and in shaping large, complex public private partnership structures.

Mr. Pentz holds a BA in Management from Mercyhurst University and a law degree from Case Western Reserve University.
