Project: Advise a global product manufacturer about options for development of a North American production/distribution complex along the US-Mexico border

Description: GLDPartners helped this global company define its supply chain planning and execution strategy for a new manufacturing complex. After a full review of the Company’s existing facilities, changing sourcing patterns and projected distribution network in the US, Canada and in Mexico, it was recommended that the facility be a twin plant operation with manufacturing in Mexico and the customization and distribution function be nearby but located in the US. A full site search was conducted utilizing GLDPartners’ Competitiveness and Facility Siting Model and two sites were chosen.
