NM Launches Mobility Business Strategy

GLDPartners Mobility Solutions Speaks at NM Mobility Forums
GLDPartners will be participating in a Mobility Roundtable in New Mexico this coming Thursday and Friday. Our firm recently completed the New Mexico Mobility Strategy business plan recommendations for the State last year, and this forum is an important event to help guide and advance New Mexico's objectives to support the industry to flourish throughout the State. The proposed strategy included elements pertaining to policy and regulation, infrastructure, testing and development, and economic development. The Strategy focuses on autonomy and advanced clean propulsion system technologies.
Inland Ports in North America: Shippers Are Demanding New Efficiencies
In the Journal of Commerce this week, Ari Ashe wrote an article "Inland ports gaining popularity despite volume slowdown". The article makes reference to beneficial cargo owners (BCOs) using inland ports on the US East Coast, in Virginia, South Carolina and Georgia. GLDPartners is working on several strategic new inland ports.
NIO to expand battery infrastructure in China to compete with Tesla
There is little doubt that battery swapping will be a meaningful element of the EV landscape in the future. It remains to be seen what the balance between work/home charging vs. field swapping looks like in 15 or 20 years. There's a strong likelihood that swapping batteries will be a part of the EV industry structure.
